Kashido is a product by Trevik. Core clipboard correction is designed to run locally on your Windows device, with no account required and no persisted clipboard history.

1. Clipboard Processing

Core clipboard correction runs locally on your Windows device. Clipboard text is not sent to cloud servers, remote APIs, or external services for core correction. Core correction works without an internet connection.

2. Data Storage & Clipboard History

Kashido does not persist a clipboard history. Kashido does not save a history or log of copied clipboard text to disk.

3. Undo Last Correction

To provide Undo Last Correction, Kashido temporarily keeps the original text from the last successful correction in volatile memory (RAM). This allows the app to restore that original text when Undo is used. This temporary data is not persisted to disk as clipboard history.

4. Accounts & Analytics

No account is required to use Kashido.

The current Early Access desktop version does not include product analytics, usage telemetry, or behavioral tracking.

5. Network Access and Updates

Core correction does not require an internet connection. Kashido may use network access to check for software updates. During Early Access, a newer Beta can direct you to the official Kashido website to download the update manually.

6. Website

The official Kashido website (kashido.app) is designed to be lightweight and privacy-respecting. It currently utilizes:

  • No client-side analytics
  • No marketing cookies
  • No forms or user accounts
  • No cross-site tracking scripts

The hosting provider may generate standard server-level access logs for security and operational purposes.

7. Changes to this policy

If Kashido's data practices change in a future release, this page will be updated with the revised details and an updated date.
